Answer to question 1 [1][2][3][4] I am describing my view regarding the quality of the article named ‘Healthcare multidisciplinary teams: The sociotechnical approach for an integrated system wide perspective’ below. A. Introduction: Multidisciplinary team working is a complex process which occurs when a wide range of health professionals from one or more diverse disciplines with different but complementary skills, knowledge, and experience, working together to deliver comprehensive health care. The authors attempted to analyse how multidisciplinary teams are promoted and supported by different aspects of organizational patterns, as they thought that traditional multidisciplinary teams approach focuses on singular aspects of the†¦show more content†¦Then they studied how this multidisciplinary team worked together by disrupting the existing routine and professional boundaries, and how they adopted new technologies and learning process. †¢ Data collection- The data were collected from top four hospitals in Italy, where TAVI procedures were adopted strongly as the authors exclusively focused on TAVI procedure. The researchers arranged a total of 27 interviews over a 6-month period with a structured interview protocol which was designed according to the modified STS model to gain diverse and relevant information from each individual participated in the study, as participants were selected from each site of the organization. During each interview, two members of researcher team and one of three authors as research assistant were present. First the data were tape recorded and then transcribed into written text form. Finally, the researchers were codifying those transcribed texts. †¢ Data analysis- The data were analysed systematically in different steps and all the authors reviewed those data blindly to maintain the quality of the study. Then they compared their findings and reconciled any deviation from their initial data and then used the consolidated checklist to reach a satisfactory level of consistency. As the authors tried to research the modified STS for the first time, the qualitative study was the most appropriate method to use.
